How do I update my profile?

22 January 2023

Let's start at the beginning... logging in!

You can log into your profile by clicking HERE. If you have forgotten your password, don't worry! There is an option to reset your password on the login page, just below the password box. This will send an email to the email address you created your profile with.

If the reset email does not arrive to your inbox after a few minutes, make sure to check your junk/spam folders in case it arrives there.

UPLOADING A NEW PHOTO

Having a good quality photo is important for the casting process and we love it when our extras take pictures specifically for their profile. We understand you might like to scroll through your camera roll and choose a picture from a wedding or event you attended where you are looking your very best, but for casting we need to see you in your normal, everyday look.

It’s best to have someone take your picture for you, or even set a timer on your camera. Selfies as your main profile picture do not work for casting purposes as we cannot clearly see you and your physique.

Our guidelines are to stand against a plain, neutral background (like a white wall), with your arms by your side and looking directly into the camera. If you have longer hair, make sure to wear it down so we can see the length.

Please only submit photos in their original colour, if it’s in black and white or you add a filter, we can’t gauge your hair colour or skin tone correctly.

If your look changes, such as a new hair colour, getting a drastic haircut, or even getting more tattoos or piercings, we would encourage you to upload a new picture.

UPDATING YOUR MEASUREMENTS

Did you know that updating your measurements is just as important as updating your profile picture?

Accurate measurements are an integral part of your profile as we need this information when we cast for costumed roles (we hope there will be lots this year).

If the information is incorrect or missing, you could be missing out on some opportunities!

Find your measuring tape and update your measurements as soon as you can. If you’re unsure how to measure yourself, we’ve left some handy YouTube links below which should guide you through the process.

Here are some guides on measuring yourself correctly for women & for men.

WE WANT TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR SKILLS

In the world of extras, so many kinds of roles come up. From baristas who can make a latte and pub staff who can pull the perfect pint to oyster shuckers, fishmongers and even blacksmiths. You would be surprised what we have to search for sometimes!

Tell us as much as you can in your profile. Let us know about your skills and any weird and wonderful hobbies or interests you have.

If you’re sporty, let us know what sports! Dancing, cycling, jogging, powerlifting, gaelic, hurling, hockey, climbing etc. Even if you don’t participate in a particular sport, do you like to go for cold water dips, swims, or hikes? We’d love to hear it!

Are you musical? Let us know the instruments you play or if you can sing.

There’s even a section in there to tell us about your pets!

UPDATE YOUR CONTACT DETAILS

If you created your profile a while ago, have a look over your contact details again. Our first contact with you will be an SMS (a text), but if it doesn’t arrive to the number on your profile it will be sent via email.

We also ask that you update your address if you need to. If you’ve moved from one area to another, this may help with opportunities as we sometimes like to cast people that live close to a filming location if it’s in a more rural area.

If you are under 17, we must have your parent’s email address and mobile number.

YOUR NATIONAL INSURANCE OR PPS NUMBER

Please ensure this is correct on your profile as it proves your right to work in the UK & Ireland. If it is incorrect, it may cause a delay on receiving your payment.

WHAT NEXT?

You’ve finished updating your profile and now its up to us to review and approve it.

We manually look over and approve every profile that gets created or updated on our website. Sometimes it takes us a little while to check over updates in profiles, but if it’s all went well, you should find your updates published in a few days. If there are any issues, you’ll receive an email from us letting you know what to do.

Good luck!
